Thank you for your interest in donating! Here is everything we require:

• The minimum length that can be donated is 30 cm measured tip to tip. We are looking for length rather than thickness.
• Colored hair is okay, but we cannot accept bleached hair. Highlights are normally done with bleach, but if you are not sure if bleach was used, please reach out to your stylist and ask them!
• We always suggest going to someone you trust to cut your hair. It does not need to be a participating RAPUNZEL salon. You can also cut your hair yourself!
• Hair must be in a ponytail or braid (or multiple ponytails or braids) before it is cut (above the elastic band).
• Hair must be clean and completely dry before it is mailed in.
• Place the ponytail or braid inside of a plastic bag, and then inside of a manila or padded envelope.
• If you wish to receive an a Certificate of Appreciation for your hair donation, please write your full name and email or mailing address on a full size separate sheet of paper and include inside the envelope. We cannot acknowledge donors who do not send their name and address according to these instructions.
• We will send you the Certificate once we receive your donation.
