Connect Against Cancer Story

At just 16, Maaly, a student at Taman Rama Intercultural School in Bali, is already making waves in the fight against cancer. Born in Berlin, now living in Bali, Maaly's mixed Indonesian, German, and Kurdish heritage fuels her passion in showing that no matter where one comes from, differences can be made.

Inspired by her own journey in having a family member battle lung cancer, Maaly launched Connect-Against-Cancer to support and bring hope to such patients during their tough times. Her initiative goes beyond fundraising and awareness to focus on tangible actions. She urges donors to contribute their hair to create wigs for children and women battling cancer, offering them a sense of normalcy and confidence.

Maaly's vision is one of unity, where people from all backgrounds come together to support each other. Through Connect-Against-Cancer, she’s turning this vision into reality, one hair donation at a time.

Join Maaly and make a real impact.
